Gauhati University provides an online facility for students to update or correct their personal information, such as father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, student photo, and signature. This process is designed to ensure accuracy and convenience. Please read the following guidelines carefully before proceeding.
Steps for Updating Information
1. Payment Process
- Before submitting the form, students must make the required payment via UPI to the following UPI ID: generaliiq@axl.
- The payment amount depends on the type of change requested:
- Photo change: Rs.100
- Signature change: Rs.100
- Father’s Name change: Rs.250
- Mother’s Name change: Rs.200
- Date of Birth change: Rs.300
2. Payment Transaction ID
- After completing the payment, note down the Transaction ID.
- This Transaction ID is mandatory for completing the form submission.
3. Online Form Submission
- Access the Google Form provided by the university (ensure you are using the official link from https://generaliiq.blogspot.com/).
- Fill in all required details carefully, including:
- Personal details such as your full name, student ID, course, and semester.
- Specify the type of change(s) you are requesting.
- Attach proof documents as necessary for the requested change (e.g., birth certificate for DOB or Latter correction).
- Upload the Transaction ID to confirm payment.
4. Supporting Documents
- Ensure you attach all necessary supporting documents for verification.
- Documents must be clear and legible.
Additional Notes
- Incomplete forms or forms submitted without the correct payment and Transaction ID will not be processed.
- Double-check all details before submission to avoid errors.
- The university may take 7–10 working days to process your request.
