Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must have passed at least High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or equivalent examination.
- The applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of the village.
- The applicant must not be a government employee.
- The applicant must not be a member of any political party.
- Age limit: Minimum 30 years and maximum 65 years (as on the date of application).
- The applicant must not have any criminal record or pending legal case.
- The applicant must be physically and mentally sound.
- The applicant or his/her parents must have landed property in the concerned village area.
- At the time of application, the applicant must submit an affidavit stating that he/she does not have more than two living children.
- Only one member from a family will be considered for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
- The applicant must not be involved in any ongoing court case.
