Pay Scale: Fixed pay of ₹15,000/- per month
Educational Qualification
- Passed Class VIII from a recognized school
- Higher than HSSLC (Class 12) not eligible
Other Requirements
- Valid LMV driving license
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Knowledge of Assamese language
- Age: 18-40 years (as on 1st Jan 2025)
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:
Driving / Skill Test
Practical assessment of driving skills
Viva-Voce / Interview
Personal interview and document verification
Note: Only shortlisted candidates from the skill test will be called for interview and document verification.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the Standard Form (as per Part-IX of the Assam Gazette) in a sealed envelope.
Prepare Application
Write "Application for the post of Driver (Contingent)" clearly on the top of the envelope.
Attach Documents
Include self-attested copies of educational certificates, driving license, age proof, and Employment Exchange Registration Card.
Include Photos & Contact
Add two recent passport-size colour photographs and mention your mobile/WhatsApp number and email ID.
